Travelers Food and Books

This is one place we try to get to at least 5 or 6 times a year. It's kind of out of the way for us, but the food, the atmosphere and the service is great! You can browse their book collection and take 3 home with you for free! If you have books that you want to recycle, they will take them off your hands. Bonus.....if you sit near the windows you get to watch the birds at the feeder. Nice destination for a laid back Sunday!

A book loving travelers paradise. All kinds of books, some free, others for sale. We had sandwiches which were good. Service was by friendly staff. Would recommend as a nice stop.

Very quaint place. Excellent and fresh food. You can even take a free book too! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling by looking for good food and a unique dining experience.

Great for a comfy quick meal & the books are free with meals. I was disappointed that the children's mac&cheese was boxed. My daughter ordered the salad which was huge! She liked it although my son barely touched the mac& cheese. Nice off st. Parking and easy to find..I would visit again😊

All-around excellent small town restaurant. Great prices for good food- we got burgers and they were good quality. The atmosphere was a low key, cozy, homey place. The best part is at the end of our meal they let us take 3 free books each!! Love the book shop aspect!

This place is wonderful. It’s convenient to the freeway, has food and books! The Books upstairs were $1.00. The books downstairs are very reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go back.

Perfect for a stop between New York and Boston, this cozy restaurant has great coffee and sandwiches. While the food is good and staff is nice, the highlight of every meal is picking out three free books that are complimentary with a purchase. The selection is always entertaining and helps make this place an absolute delight.

Quick pit stop on our road trip and we were both really glad we stopped here. The service was good and quick, the food was fresh, fast and hot, and above all really tasty. Fun famous author names on the sandwiches and wraps. Hubby said they were the best fries he'd had in a while and the beer was also well kept. I've book marked this one in case we are ever in the area again. Highly recommended.

Quaint restaurant with friendly service. Great selection of menu offerings. Everything we ordered was delicious! And 3 free books per patron to leave with. What more can you ask for?! Have dined here more than once and will surely be back again.
